Final Project:
I chose the game Hollow Knight for my final project. Below are the sounds I created for project and their descriptions.
Ambience:
I recorded wind noises that I created by blowing into the mic.
I recorded water dropping into a cup to create dripping sound effect.
I recorded the noise coming from the refrigerator to create a low rumbling sound effect.
After I edited the sounds, I made it into one sound file to make it easier for editing in the main Audition project.
Player:
Footsteps:
I recorded a Rubik's Cube hitting back of a comb and then edited the sound to increase bass to make it sound like it is on stone.
Slash:
I recorded a fly swatter swinging through the air.
Jump:
I recorded rustling a piece of towel to create the clothe movement. I reused the footstep to indicate the jumping sound.
Land:
I recorded dropping Rubik's Cube on the comb and edited it using EQ to have more bass and sound like stone.
Hit Sound:
Recorded using a fly swatter and hitting a leather chair.
Coins:
Recorded by using a bunch of coins in my hand and throwing them in my hands.
Electric Butterflies:
Recorded using a Hair Clippers and editing it using Chorus, Flanger, Strech and Pitch shift in Audition.
Fly Enemy:
Recorded by rustling some paper to create flapping wings.
Land Enemy:
Recorded by blowing into an empty bottle to create and then pitch shifting it to make it sound more monster like.
