Game Ideas for Final Project:
The Blank Swordsman
Inspiration:

- Mega Man ZX

Story:
- A young man with no emotions on a quest to better his skill at swordsmanship after he failed to pass the final test from his master.
- The master sends him to explore the Cloquet Forest, a place where fallen swordsman and monsters lie.
- He discovers more and more of himself as he explores, discovers and survives the secrets and dangers of the island.
- A 2D Action Platformer with many different stances that have unique combat properties that will help with defeating the various enemies in the forest.
- The player will start with neutral stance and will gain more after defeating bosses of in the level.
- The stances can help with dealing with attacks and help solve puzzles.
- The basic combat loop will contain:
- Melee Attacks
- Stance Change
- Dash/Dodge
- Jumping

Story:
- DJ Cat is a famous DJ who has been invited to perform at a music festival. However, on the day of the festival, all of his equipment gets stolen. DJ Cat must now travel through different levels to retrieve his equipment and make it to the festival on time.
- The levels are Rhythm based which means you have to play according to the beat of the music.
- There will be two main mechanics:
- Jump to avoid obstacles
- Attack Enemies/Destroy Obstacles

Story:
- The game takes place in a dystopian future where the government has created a new type of soldier that is immune to bullets. The player character is a member of a resistance group that is fighting against the government.
- The player character has been injected with a serum that makes them immune to bullets as well, but it has also made them addicted to getting shot. The serum has also given them enhanced speed and strength.
- The main mechanic of this game is to get shot in order to progress through the game.
- The player is immune to bullets and when is shot gains increased strength and speed which can be used to solve the puzzles in the game whether that be avoiding obstacles or defeating enemies
- The challenge in the game would be to manage the Addiction Bar which would be pseudo health bar. Every time the player gets shot the Addiction Bar will go up and when is full the player loses as the character succumbs to the addiction and loses control of himself.
