 Week 1: Module Briefing A short briefing was done by our module lecturer about what and how we are taking this course. We went through the module information booklet. After that, our lecturer told us more about the software we will be using which is Adobe Audition. Lastly, he gave us a tour of the recording studio.

Games Development: Review of Web Game

Name: Hazeem bin Asmie Student ID: 0343138 Programme: Bachelor of Computer Science Review for This game contains a simple objective which is to reach the end while avoiding or dealing with all the obstacles in the level. The obstacles are the various enemies that you face and the platforms you have to reach by jumping. The game in my opinion has a weird way of handling jumping that makes the game harder than it needs to be. When the player jumps it moves character way too high in my opinion, but it might just be part of the game. Other than that, the game plays smoothly and has a really cohesive art style. Pros: Cohesive Artstyle Good Soundtrack Cons: Weird jump mechanics Simplistic Level Design Things I would change: Jump mechanic Varied level by adding more types of enemies and platform puzzles.
